‘Phantom’ 1st Day Collection: Started on an Average note, getting reviews in favor

Katrina Kaif & Saif Ali Khan starrer latest thriller-action movie Phantom has released out today on box office with good hype among audience. The movie has received favorable reviews from critics as well as moviegoers but, in terms of business it has started on an average note. It was expected to get better occupancy on first day but unfortunately it is not happened. As per the director Kabir Khan, Katrina is at her best in the movie but critics reviews are saying something else. Overall movie has started on an average but surely will take rise from tomorrow.

First Day Collection of Phantom (Hindi) at Box Office, starring Katrina Kaif & Saif Ali Khan.

Phantom is based on the terrorist attacks of 26/11 in Mumbai, adapted from the book Mumbai Avengers written by Hussain Zaidi. The movie is produced with a budget of approx. 55 crores by Sajid Nadiadwala & Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banners Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment & UTV Motion Pictures. As expected it is getting good support of fans & audience, which is creating positive environment for Phantom at box office. Word of mouth attracts more audience to watch the movie, and same is expected in the case of Phantom.

On its opening day, Phantom recorded the overall occupancy of 50% in India and has done the business of 8.46 crores from Indian screens. The movie has not opened well on Friday but expected to get better in coming days. As previous releases this movie is also have holiday weekend, so a good jump would be seen on Saturday & Sunday. After a long time gap Katrina is back on silver screen, her fans are looking very much excited and creating good buzz of the movie on social media. All these things, will definitely result in positive for Phantom & team.
