‘Phantom’ 5th Day Collection: Minted Total 37.58 Cr in last 4 Days

This week released action-thriller movie Phantom is now facing drops at box office. In the weekend it did very well and minted total 33.18 crores on 2600 Indian screens. Now its performance has been slowed down by heavy rate and collecting low figures. On Monday it was minted 4.40 crores and on Tuesday also, it recorded slightly less occupancy. But the good thing is, that the movie is getting positive response from audience as well as critics across the globe, which arises hope of almost steady business in coming days.

Phantom is based on terrorist attacks of 26/11 in Mumbai, its story is adapted from the book Mumbai Avengers written by Hussain Zaidi. After the blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan, this is the second movie of director Kabir Khan in this year. The movie is not performing even near to Bajrangi Bhaijaan but still doing better than previous thriller movies of 2015.

In its first weekend, Phantom was done the business of total 33.18 crores that was included 8.46 crores of Friday, 12.78 crores of Saturday and rest 11.94 crores of Sunday. From Monday, it has entered in weekdays and as usual started facing drops in its business. The movie was raked only 4.40 crores on its 4th day with a drop of 60%. Till the end of its 4th day, the total collection of the movie was recorded as 37.58 crores. On Tuesday, it witnessed slight more drop in its business and registered the amount of 3.63 crores as its 5th day collection.
