Latest Bollywood movie Piku has finally released in the theaters today on 8 May 2015. Audience was waiting long for this film getting released and now when it has finally hit the screens then everyone is excited to know how the film has performed today. It is first day of release for Piku today and the film has opened good; its just above average in terms of collection.

With so many previously released Bollywood films, it doesn’t look like anything we have seen on celluloid before. Anyhow this wonderful & sweet father daughter story based film has managed to make its place on the basis of first day and the total First Day Collection of Piku is 5.32 crores.

Set in different locations and different looks of Deepika, the film describes the story of Piku (Deepika) & her aged father. One thing that in one way attracted the film and on the other side distracted them is its story i.e. the film has been made for family audience at most so great treat for them but the youth find the other option Kuch Kuch Locha Hai as better option for them as it featuring Sunny Leone.

But on the good note public has liked this film and showed nice interest in it today being the first day its release. If we look at the story line, it’s completely new from what we have seen this year. Also the family chemistry of Deepika & Amitabh first time ever together and the romantic tinge with Irrfan involved in it are quite different and interesting between the two leads.

Due to the release of another waited Bollywood comedy movie Kuch Kuch Locha Hai today starring stunning Sunny Leone & Ram Kapoor has in a way affected the performance of Piku. Film is expected to see more profits in the coming days due to the weekend time.
