Salman Khan’s PRDP Heading towards 200 Cr on Hindi Screens
Second movie of superstar Salman Khan this year ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is flying high at box office. The movie was released on 12th of November on 4500 screens in India and has already completed its one week journey with 165.45 crores. It has received very positive reviews from most of the critics and getting overwhelmed response from audience across the country.
PRDP has registered the highest opening of the year so far with an amount of 40.35 crores and also has successfully acquired the second position among year’s top highest grosser movies. Within its first week, it had dominated the lifetime domestic collection record of Tanu Weds Manu Returns and now has been parked below the biggest blockbuster movie of the year Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
In the first week, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo showed outstanding performance at box office and grossed total 165.45 crores on Hindi Indian screens. Total one week collection is comprises with 129.77 crores of weekend and rest 35.68 crores of weekdays. On the very first day of it second week, the movie had witnessed considerable drop and minted the amount of 7.37 crores.
On the next day, it had faced slight more drop and recorded the amount of 5.50 crores as its 9th day collection. On its second Saturday, being weekend the day has resulted out better for PRDP. It has collected the amount of 6.70 crores as its 10th day collection. The movie is expected to touch the mark of 200 crore till the end of this week. This statement cannot denied, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is not getting the same kind of response, that everyone was expecting earlier but still it stands strong.
