Raazi 7th Day Box Office Collection: Surpasses Hichki within a Week of Release

The latest offering of powerhouse actress Alia Bhatt, Raazi has passed its opening week on a strong note. Within a week, it has emerged a success at the box office and also surpassed the lifetime total of Rani Mukerji’s much-loved Hichki (46.17 crores). After this, it has become the 6th highest grossing Hindi movie of the year so far.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Raazi has an impactful story backed by a proficient direction, powerful screenplay and the brilliant performance of Alia Bhatt. These are the reasons, the movie received very positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience and gained strong word of mouth.

After a solid opening, this female-oriented spy thriller has recorded a healthy jump over the weekend due to favorable reactions and did the business of total 32.94 crores, that included 7.53 crores of Friday, 11.30 crores of Saturday, and 14.11 crores of Sunday.

Then on weekdays, despite normal working days Raazi remained strong and showed solid hold over the audience across India. On Monday, the movie faced a drop of 16.33% than Friday and minted the amount of 6.30 crores. By remaining almost steady, it bagged 6.10 crores on Tuesday and 5.90 crores on Wednesday.

On the next day i.e. Thursday, Alia Bhatt – Vicky Kaushal starrer witnessed a further decline and garnered the business of 5.35 crores. With this, the total collection of Raazi after 7 days has become 56.59 crores at the domestic box office. Now let see, how it will perform opposite to the new Hollywood offering Deadpool 2.
