Raid 1st Day Collection Prediction, Ajay Devgn-Ileana D’cruz starrer to take a Good Start

Another big Hindi release of 2018, Raid is all set to hit the screens this Friday with good buzz among fans as well as the audience. Superstar Ajay Devgn, magnetic beauty Ileana D’cruz, and supremely talented Saurabh Shukla starrer this period crime drama is releasing solo and expected to take a good start at the domestic box office.

Five months after the masala-entertainer Golmaal Again, Ajay Devgn is back with his another offering which is not that big on a budget and also doesn’t backed by any franchise. Raid is completely different from the previous one in subject and genre. It is a kind of film, that relies on content and performances, not on star power.

So far with the promos, Raid seems strong and gripping, also it has a solid cast that adds more power. Looking back to previous records, Ajay Devgn‘s last crime drama was Drishyam that opened on a good note with 8.50 crores of business. Talking about the noticeable movie from the recent past based on similar subject, Special 26 did the opening business of 7 crores.

Considering all the reports and facts, Panorama Studios and T-Series Films’ presentation looks capable to take a good opening in a range of 9-10 crores. Also, as the early reviews are coming in favor of Raid, so it is possible that the opening numbers can be above 11 crores and word of mouth will help it to grow well over the weekend.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid is set in 1980’s era, based on one of the most high-profile real income tax raids of the country conducted by Indian Revenue Services. In the film, Ajay is portraying a role of a fearless IT officer from Lucknow, while Ileana as his wife. Shukla is playing as the powerful, corrupt and tough-target goon of the city.
