Raid 8th Day Collection, Ajay Devgn-Saurabh Shukla starrer Remains Steady on 2nd Friday

After passing the opening week on an excellent note, superstar Ajay Devgn’s latest offering Raid has stepped in the second week with a maintained momentum. Despite the new Hindi release Rani Mukerji’s Hichki, it remained unaffected and registered a good business on its 2nd Friday.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid has got succeed to hit the target right and impressed everyone with its impactful story-line and noticeable performances by the lead actors- Ajay Devgn, Saurabh Shukla and Ileana D’cruz. Due to strong word of mouth, the movie is still ruling over the box office.

In the opening weekend, this period crime drama took a solid start and picked up very well from the next day. It did the business of 41.01 crores in first three days, that included 10.04 crores of Friday, 13.86 crores of Saturday and 17.11 crores of Sunday.

Then on weekdays, despite a considerable drop in footfalls, Raid managed to remain strong and minted the amount of 6.26 crores on Monday, 5.76 crores on Tuesday, 5.36 crores on Wednesday and 4.66 crores on Thursday.

After a week, the total collection of Panorama Studios & T-Series Films’ collaboration had recorded 63.05 crores from 3400 screens. Now the movie has entered in the second weekend and still has a good hole over the audience.

On the 2nd Friday, Raid reported a little drop of approx. 24% and bagged the amount of 3.55 crores. With this, its 8 days total collection has become 66.60 crores at the domestic box office. As per current trend, it is positively expected to take good growth over this weekend.
