Rangasthalam Emerges First Film of Ram Charan to Gross over 200 Crores Worldwide

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan has yet again proved that he is the undisputed king of the Telugu film industry. His latest film Rangasthalam was released when the industry was going through a slump and was witnessing low footfalls in theatres. Rangasthalam, a period drama set against a village backdrop in the 1980’s, revealed an all-new Ram Charan to the audience, where he portrayed a deaf village character for the first time in his career. Rangasthalam is the only film other than Baahubali franchise in this exclusive club. This feat is made all the more special as this revenue generated from a single language release, Telugu.

Rangasthalam has registered record collections in overseas markets as well with this film being the first to breach the 3.5 Million dollar benchmark.
