John Abraham & Shruti Haasan starrer ‘Rocky Handsome’ has opened up on a decent note and minted 1.84 crore on Thursday. Due to Holi, theaters have not witnessed impressive footfall for the film. But it is getting positive reviews from audience as well as critics, which is good sign. Fans of John are showing immense excitement for this action thriller and creating good buzz about it on social media. On Holi, people like to celebrate the day at home with family and friends. Also most of them were not aware about premiere shows, so such kind of response is good enough.
The beneficial point is, viewers liked the film & that has generated bit positive word of mouth about Rocky Handsome among audience. Due to favorable reactions, the film is expected to receive decent response on Friday. This is a holiday weekend, so Rocky Handsome is positively expected to register good figures on box office. Last week release family drama film ‘Kapoor & Sons‘ will also get benefit of this festive season and obviously affect the run of John’s latest offering.
One thing can not be denied that, the journey of Rocky Handsome would not be easy. As there are three other films, to hamper its performance- last week’s Kapoor & Sons, latest much anticipated Punjabi film Ambarsariya & the Hollywood one Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.
