Salman Khan’s Sultan Total Collection, Crosses 500 Cr Gross Worldwide

Sultan Emerges as Fastest 500 Cr Grosser

Yash Raj Films’ second venture of the year, superstar Salman Khan starrer Sultan is storming on box office. Within just 12 days of release, the movie has grossed more than 500 crores on worldwide box office and emerged as the fastest 500 crore grosser movie in Bollywood so far. Also it is now at the fourth position among top highest grossing movies of all time after PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan & Dhoom 3.

Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial is positively expected to surpass the lifetime total of Dhoom 3 till its third weekend. Fans of Salman are very much excited with the performance of Sultan at box office. Their immense craze can be easily seen on social media. After a long dry spell, such phenomenal performance is very rejoicing for the entire film industry.

In its opening week Sultan had 5-days weekend, in which it did the total business of 180.36 crores. In weekdays it raked the business of 48.80 crores and took its total to 229.16 crores net on domestic box office. In the first week, total gross domestic collection of the movie was recorded as 320.82 crores.

In the second weekend, Salman Khan starrer again showed impressive growth in its business and reported the net domestic business of 34.07 crores, that includes 7.43 crores of Friday, 11.46 crores of Saturday and 15.18 crores of Sunday. After 12 days, domestic total of Sultan was recorded as 263.23 crores net and 368.52 crores gross. With this, the movie has grossed 504.85 crores at worldwide box office, including 136.33 crores of overseas.
