Sanju 10th Day Box Office Collection, Emerges 9th Highest Grosser of all time by 2nd Weekend

After a blockbuster opening week, the biographical drama Sanju showed a remarkable growth over its second weekend and become the 9th highest grosser of all time in Hindi cinema by surpassing the lifetime total of Krrish 3 (244.92 crores). Due to strong word of mouth and no major competition, the movie is still having an exceptional hold over the audience.

Starring the powerhouse of talent Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Sanjay Dutt, Sanju has made a solid impact on the viewers. For his brilliant performance and proficient direction by the ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, the movie has received very positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience.

Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raju Hirani jointly, Dutt Biopic registered the highest first week of the year so far and after that remained super-strong on its second weekend as well. On 2nd Friday, with a usual drop of 19.88% than the previous day, it raked the business of 12.90 crores.

On the next day i.e. 2nd Saturday, Fox Star Studios’ presentation took a noticeable growth of 70.7% and did the business of 22.02 crores. Then on 2nd Sunday, with a further jump, Sanju minted the amount of 28.05 crores and raised its 10 days total domestic collection to 265.48 crores nett (340.36 crores gross) including 202.51 crores of the first week.

Being the highly anticipated movie of the year, Rajkumar Hirani – Ranbir Kapoor’s collaboration opened on a phenomenal note. By remaining superb throughout the opening week, Sanju did the business of 120.06 crores on the weekend and 82.45 crores on weekdays from 4000 screens across India.
