Because of no major competition from the previous & new releases and having a strong word of mouth at the box office, last week released Sanju is showing fantastic growth over the second weekend. As a result, it has surpassed the lifetime total of Marvel’s Avengers Infinity War (226.39 crores) within 9 days of release.
As expected, the biopic of Indian actor Sanjay Dutt titled Sanju has impressed almost everyone and received very positive reviews. Although some of them have found it an attempt to prove Dutt innocent, still Ranbir Kapoor is being appreciated by all the viewers for his brilliant performance.
Ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial was released last Friday amid the huge excitement of fans and took the highest opening of the year. By showing a healthy jump over the weekend, it did the business of 120.06 crores that included 34.75 crores on Friday, 38.60 crores on Saturday, and 46.71 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays as well, Sanju remained super-strong and raked the business of 25.35 crores on Monday, 22.10 crores on Tuesday, 18.90 crores on Wednesday, and 16.10 crores on Thursday. After a week, the total collection of the movie was recorded at 202.51 crores from 4000 screens across India.
