Sarrainodu Crosses 21 Cr in 1st Weekend from AP/Telangana
The latest offering from Telugu Cinema, superstar Allu Arjun starrer Sarrainodu has completed its opening weekend journey at box office on a good note. The movie has been released with much hype among audience and received well at box office. Despite mixed reviews from critics as well as moviegoers it has reported impressive start across Telugu states and emerged as biggest opener of Allu Arjun’s career so far. It has also become the third highest opener of the year in Tollywood after Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh (20.50 cr) and Jr. NTR’s Nannaku Prematho (13.46 cr).
Sarrainodu has been released on 500 screens in Andhra Pradesh and 450 screens in Telangana. From both the states, it had witnessed good and minted the amount of approx. 11 cr on its first day with 80% of occupancy. Not only in India but in overseas market too, this mass entertainer has received overwhelmed response from audience and heading smoothly.
On the next day i.e. Saturday it faced more than 50% of drop than Friday and raked the business of 5.30 cr from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday it received little rise and added the amount of 5.50 cr as its 3rd day collection to it account. After the weekend total collection of Sarrainodu is recorded as 21.80 cr across Telugu states.
