Secret Superstar 1st Day Collection, Zaira Wasim-Aamir Khan’s Film Gets Decent Start But Solid Reviews

After making huge buzz with it’s promos, finally the highly anticipated Secret Superstar has been released this Thursday at box office. Due to Diwali puja, the movie hasn’t got any impressive start on the opening day but reviews from critics as well as audience are super positive.

Directed by Advait Chandan, Secret Superstar is an inspirational musical drama starring Zaira Wasim, superstar Aamir Khan and Meher Vij in lead roles. It’s a story of a Muslim girl who loves music and wants to become world famous singer, but has lot of hurdles in her way.

As expected the movie has got succeed to impress viewers and gaining strong word of mouth, which will help it to compete with a biggie Golmaal Again at box office. The Dangal girl Zaira has once again nailed with her brilliant performance in the movie, while Aamir Khan and Meher Vij are also being praised by everyone.

On the first day, Secret Superstar recorded decent occupancy across the country and raked the opening business of 4.80 crores from 1750 screens. Like Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par, this one too got a decent opening but seems ready to take good jump over the weekend as it’s reviews are solid.

From the second day, Secret Superstar will have Rohit Shetty’s much awaited action comedy Golmaal Again in opposite. Although both the movies are based on different genres but still can hamper each other’s performances.
