After the three excellent weeks, recently released Hindi comedy Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has passed its fourth weekend as well on a solid note. Despite having the new offering Raid in the opposite, it remained unaffected and has made its entry confirmed in the 100-crore club.
Presented by Luv Films and T-Series Films, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety brought the crazy Pyaar Ka Punchnama gang back, who has made everyone laugh out loud once again. With positive word of mouth, the movie remained strong throughout and as a result become the biggest surprise super hit of the year so far.
On its 4th Friday, Luv Ranjan’s directorial faced a minimal drop than the previous day and did the business of 1.27 crore despite Ajay Devgn’s Raid. On the next day i.e. 4th Saturday, it took a solid growth of approx. 66% and minted the amount of 2.11 crores.
Then on 4th Sunday as well, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety witnessed further jump and collected the amount of 2.32 crores. With this, the total collection of the movie after 24 days, has become 99.34 crores at the domestic box office including 93.64 crores of last 3 weeks.
By remaining rock-steady throughout, SKTKS did the business of 45.94 crores in the opening week. In the second & third week as well, the movie maintained a strong pace and bagged 29.77 crores & 17.93 crores respectively.
With just one more day, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is all set to emerge the second movie of the year to cross the mark of 100-crore domestically after the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.
