Soorma & Ant-Man And The Wasp 6th Day Box Office Collection from Indian Screens

Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu, and Angad Bedi starrer much-anticipated film of the year Soorma was released this Friday amid the good excitement of fans. As expected, it got succeed to impress most of the viewers, but unfortunately not getting desired response at the box office.

Directed by Shaad Ali, the biopic of Hockey legend Sandeep Singh aka Flicker Singh, Soorma has received mostly positive feedback from the critics as well as the audience, but still, it didn’t witness expected jump over the weekend and registered the business of 13.85 crores that included 3.20 crores of Friday, 5.05 crores of Saturday, and 5.60 crores of Sunday.

Now it is running on weekdays and as usual getting lower footfalls than initial days. With a considerable drop after the weekend, SPN Productions’ presentation minted 2 crores on Monday and 1.94 crores on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, it collected 1.77 crores and raised 6 days total collection to 19.56 crores from 1100 screens across India.

On the other hand, the awaited American sci-fi Ant-Man And The Wasp opened on a good note with positive reviews but didn’t take much over the weekend. It did the business of 19.30 crores in first 3-days with 5.50 crores on Friday, 7 crores on Saturday & 6.80 crores on Sunday.

Now the second installment of Marvel’s successful franchise Ant-Man is running on weekdays and dropping regularly. With heavy drops than Friday, it minted 2.50 crores on Monday and 2.05 crores on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, it bagged 1.85 crores and raised 6 days total to 25.70 crores nett (32.95 crores gross) from 1300 screens.
