With huge hype and excitement, Salman Khan’s latest offering Sultan is all set to hit theaters on Wednesday i.e. July 6. The movie is releasing two days earlier than the normal release day, so it will enjoy the 5 days festive weekend. With wide screen count of 4000 in India, it can easily become the biggest grosser of the year so far by the opening weekend only.

Advance booking of Sultan has been started from 3rd of July and undoubtedly witnessing phenomenal response across the country. As per the report, the movie is already declared houseful for its opening day in almost all the theaters of major cities. Not only in India but in overseas market too, it is getting overwhelmed pre-release response. In overseas, it is releasing on 1100 screens.

As per exhibitors, after a long dry spell box office is witnessing such high temperature. The year has not come out so successful for the industry till yet. In last 6 months only Airlift, Housefull 3 & Baaghi have scored well, rest all are just on & below the average line. So in these circumstances, Sultan is a big hope for the industry. Also after the disappointed performance of Fan, such tremendous pre-release response of the latest one is very cherishing for YRF.

The advance bookings have done so far, are projecting the opening the of more than 25 crores on domestic box office. So it means, Sultan can positively take the opening of around 33 – 34 crores. If this happens, then it will become the second highest opener of Salman Khan’s career after PRDP (40.35 crores) and the 4th highest in Bollywood after HNY (44.97 crores), PRDP & Dhoom 3 (36 crores).
