‘TE3N’ Looses its Hold in 2nd Weekend!
Last week released suspense thriller TE3N (Teen) has reported very decent business in the opening week. The movie has been released on 1169 screens across the country with little buzz among audience. Also it has received positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Despite all this, it has not minted much at box office, whereas the Hollywood’s horror flick The Conjuring 2 raked far better and still has much hold over Indian audience.
In the opening weekend, TE3N reported almost decent occupancy in theaters and did the business of 11.13 crores, that includes 2.61 crores of Friday, 3.97 crores of Saturday and 4.55 crores of Sunday. In weekdays, it got failed to maintain a decent pace and minted the amount of 5.21 crores, that includes 1.40 crore of Monday, 1.38 crore of Tuesday, 1.28 crore of Wednesday and 1.15 crore of Thursday.
After a week, total domestic collection of TE3N was recorded as 16.34 crores. From overseas market, it reported quite well and raked the business of 6.13 crores. Now it is running in the second week and due to new buzzed Hindi release Udta Punjab, it gets very low occupancy in its second weekend. On its 2nd Friday, it faced more than 70% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 0.30 crore.
On Saturday, being weekend it received slight rise in its business graph and raked the business of 0.51 crore. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, being holiday it witnesses higher response than Saturday. As per report, it is estimated to collect 0.64 crore on its 10th day. With this, total domestic collection of TE3N will become 17.79 crores till the end of 2nd weekend.
