In the early days it had done decent earning over the box office. In the beginning film had a favorable time and had really impressed the audience over the box office.

Even the first weekend report was also good & everyone was satisfied to see the performance of The Shaukeens in its first three days on box office but from then the film started picking a fall in its collections and drain in the income and the occupancy as well. It has not given any good competition Kill Dil but has proved to be among reasons for failure of Happy New Year in attracting the audience in these two weeks.
