The Shaukeens & Rang Rasiya 8th Day Box Office Report

Recent Bollywood movie The Shaukeens was released last week with the opposite genre film Rang Rasiya. Both the films were not found too big at profit but still talking audience response wise then the comedy blaster stood higher. After the end of weekdays yesterday, both the films have shown a positive income on their total 8 days journey at the box office.

The Shaukeens was released with much promotion, popularity and hypes & it gained the same response though there were critical analysis about Rang Rasiya that it may not be much welcomed by the audience due to weak genre but the film came out as a surprise when it recorded decent collections overall the week.

Audience liked the comedy content of The Shaukeens and enjoyed the triple fun dose from the leads. On its 8th day of release, the film is still doing well but now getting affected adversely from new release Kill Dil.

The Shaukeens made a good box office performance till now over Rang Rasiya and the solo week proved much beneficial in account of the movie. 2nd Friday opened with a drop in the occupancy due to many factors and the film made a total trade of around 1.4 Crores* today however Rang Rasiya closed down today at 12 Lacs*.

After making a good performance graph in the first week, now both the films are ready to face serious threat from Kill Dil. The Shaukeens have to fight in the screens for audience and if it manages to survive these three days of weekend and might this comedy genre do longer business in box office than Rang Rasiya.
