Vidhu Vinod Chopra directed newly released Broken Horses made a near to average business at the box office. The film was never expected to open outstandingly in India as it lacked promotional activities, but the weekend business of this film on a total note is too average in spite of director being successful Indian film maker. Today being Sunday and a high time for any film to earn well, Broken Horses bagged least amount on box office all over the screens among present movies in its first weekend by collecting only 0.77 crore* today and around 2.13 crores* in complete first weekend.

Many movies released simultaneously this Friday and as expected all other movies ate the later business over Broken Horses throughout the weekend. Occupancy was not seen rising much any day throughout the first weekend.

Moreover the fact that, film was also going not too strong at the box office didn’t help much in leaving any big number of screens for it. So movie opened with low amount on box office today on its 3rd day which was a public holiday. It could not manage to cover some more part of its cost on Sunday too. On totality film is not doing well and audience does not seem to like this movie from the day one of its release.

Storyline of the movie was dramatized in a serious drama plus thriller way in order to entertain the audience but failed to bring the results in India. From the reviews and comments f the viewers, the film collections are not anticipated to make great business resembling to its promotions and public response after the release of movie but still it is expected to run few more days.
