The second collaboration of superstar Salman Khan with director Ali Abbas Zafar, Tiger Zinda Hai is setting fire at box office from the very first day of release and still has good hold over the audience nationwide. With it’s phenomenal run so far, it has emerged as 5th Hindi movie of all time to enter in 300 crore club.
By the third weekend, Yash Raj Films’ Tiger Zinda Hai had surpassed the lifetime total of Salman’s second biggest blockbuster Sultan (2016) and acquired the place. Now with a steady pace, it is heading toward Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) and positively expected to dominate it by this week.
Starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif together, this action thriller was released with huge buzz and as expected opened to a fantastic note. By remaining strong through the first week, it did the business of 206.04 crores that included 114.93 crores in weekend and 91.11 crores in weekdays from 4600 screens.
In the second week it had approx. 3500 screens in India and raked the business of 85.51 crores with 48.71 crores in weekend and 36.80 crores in weekdays. Then in the third weekend as well, TZH remained good and garnered the business of 17.61 crores that included 3.72 crores on 3rd Friday, 5.62 crores on 3rd Saturday and 8.27 crores on 3rd Sunday.
Now Tiger Zinda Hai is running in normal weekdays and asusual getting lesser footfalls than before. On 3rd Monday, it registered the business of 2.72 crores with around 27% of drop than Friday. By falling further on 3rd Tuesday, the movie minted the amount of 2.56 crores and raised it’s 19 days domestic total to 314.44 crores.
