Tiger Zinda Hai 9th Day Collection, Surpasses Lifetime Total of Salman Khan’s Kick

After the blockbuster opening week, the highly buzzed Tiger Zinda Hai is heading with a maintained strong pace in the second week as well. Due to solid star power and positive word of mouth, the movie is soaring at box office and setting new records with each single day.

Being the sequel to 2012’s blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, it was released with high recall value and as expected got succeed to impress viewers with it’s thrilling plot, hard hitting action and excellent performances given by all the actors. As a result, this action thriller has received positive remarks from audience as well as critics.

Because to solid initial buzz, Tiger Zinda Hai opened to a humongous note and registered best opening of 2017 in Bollywood. Over the weekend it showed remarkable growth and did the business of 114.93 crores that included 34.10 crores of Friday, 35.30 crores of Saturday and 45.53 crores on Sunday.

On Monday due to holiday of Christmas, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial remained steady and bagged the amount of 36.54 crores. While in normal weekdays, the movie witnessed usual drops and minted the amount of 21.60 crores on Tuesday, 17.55 crores of Wednesday and 15.42 crores of Thursday.

After the opening week, total collection of Tiger Zinda Hai was recorded as 206.04 crores at domestic box office from 4600 screens. Now it is running in the second week and still has more than 3500 screens nationwide. With around 25% of drop than previous day, it collected 11.56 crores on 2nd Friday.

On the next day i.e. 2nd Saturday, YRF’s this latest presentation once again showed remarkable growth and garnered the business of 14.92 crores. With this, total collection of Tiger Zinda Hai after 9 days of release, has become 232.52 crores and surpassed the lifetime total of Salman Khan‘s 2014 blockbuster Kick (231.85 crores).
