Tiger Zinda Hai Completes 50 Days at Box Office, Collects a Massive Total Worldwide

At the time where most of the movies get vanished in 4-5 weeks, the year 2017’s last biggie Tiger Zinda Hai has successfully completed its 50 days journey at the box office. Superstar Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer passed early weeks on a terrific note and remained decent afterward.

In its journey so far, the sequel to 2012’s blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai has registered a number of records and emerged 4th highest grossing movie of all time in Hindi cinema after Baahubali 2, Dangal and PK. Completing 50 days at the box office is also a big achievement for any movie.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, this action thriller was released on 22 December last year and as expected received overwhelmed response from viewers. By remaining strong throughout the 2 weeks, it did the business of 206.04 crores in the first and 85.51 crores in the second week.

Then with usual drops in footfalls, Tiger Zinda Hai collected the amount of 27.31 crores in the third week, 10.89 crores in fourth, 5.81 crores in fifth, 2.63 crores in sixth and 0.86 crore in the seventh week. After 7 weeks, the total collection of the movie was recorded 339.08 crores.

Now Yash Raj Films’ presentation has entered in its 8th week and has a couple of weeks back released Padmaavat and the new PadMan in the opposite. As a result, TZH witnessed a drop of 85.7% than the previous day and minted the amount of 0.01 crore on 8th Friday.

With this, the total 50 days collection of Tiger Zinda Hai has become 339.09 crores nett. (434.73 crores gross) at the domestic box office. From international markets, it has done approx. 135 crores gross and raised the worldwide total to 569.73 crores gross.
