Veere Di Wedding 10th Day Box Office Collection, Goes Past 69.50 Crores by 2nd Weekend

After a fantastic opening week, last Friday released Veere Di Wedding has passed its second weekend as well on a strong note. Despite mixed audience reactions, poor IMDb rating and new big releases in the opposite, this female-buddy comedy movie is still getting solid footfalls in theatres across the country.

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Veere Di Wedding has got succeed to received favorable remarks from the critics but unfortunately hasn’t impressed the audience completely. Although the box office performance of the movie so far is quite impressive despite the ‘A’ certification.

Leaving everyone surprised, Ekta Kapoor & Rhea Kapoor’s production opened on an exceptional note and remained super-strong throughout. In the first week, it raked the business of total 56.96 crores that included 36.52 crores on the weekend and 20.44 crores on weekdays from 2177 screens across India.

Now Veere Di Wedding is running in the second week and once again showed a healthy jump over the weekend. On 2nd Friday, it did the business of 3.37 crores after a drop of 17% than the previous day. Then on 2nd Saturday, the movie took a jump and minted 4.51 crores.

On the next day i.e. 2nd Sunday, Kareena Kapoor – Sonam Kapoor starrer has witnessed more growth and bagged the amount of 4.84 crores. With this, the total collection of VDW after 10 days has become 69.68 crores nett at the domestic box office. It is positively expected to remain steady until Salman Khan’s Race 3 releases coming Friday.
