‘Kapoor & Sons’ Completes Opening Weekend on a Good Note
Filmmaker Karan Johar’s latest offering, the family drama film ‘Kapoor & Sons’ has acquired a soft place in the heart of audience. The film has been released on this Friday with good initial buzz and received very positive reviews from critics as well as movie goers. These positive reactions have boosted up its hype and generated strong word of mouth at box office. Audience find Kapoor & Sons very connecting and delightful which can be enjoyed by all age groups. After a long time gap, any film from Dharma Productions banner is getting such overwhelmed response.
Rishi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Kapoor & Fawad Khan starrer this latest flick is doing good at box office and is being liked by everyone. The film had taken a decent start on Friday and raked the business of 6.85 crores with 30-35% occupancy across the country. Due to positive buzz about the film among audience, it witnessed better response than Friday. India-Pakistan T20 match affected its post-evening shows but still it had minted the amount of 7.75 crores.
On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, as expected Kapoor & Sons reported the higher occupancy than last two days and collected the amount of 11.75 crores. Till the end of its third day, total collection of the film is recorded as 26.35 crores on Indian screens. The film is expected to do decent in weekdays too.
