Welcome Back 11th & 12th Day Collection: Becomes the 5th Highest Grosser of 2015

Welcome Back; Minted 86.42 Cr in 10 Days

Last week released comedy drama movie Welcome Back has already completed its first week at box office. The movie has received mixed reviews from critics but audience find it very entertaining. As a result, it has successfully registered the second highest opening week total of year 2015 in Bollywood so far. Now it is running in its second week and even after having the new movie Hero in competition, it is performing smoothly in India.

Welcome Back is the sequel of 2007’s one of the most successful movies Welcome which was received huge appreciation from audience. This was the reason behind good hype of the latest installment among audience. Because of hilarious dialogues and performance by Anil Kapoor & Nana Patekar, Welcome Back is also being appreciated by audience and performing extremely well at domestic as well as overseas box office.

In the first week, Welcome Back was done the business of 74.02 crores that included 51 crores of weekend and 23.02 crores of weekdays. The movie has collected total 12.40 crores as its second weekend total in India that includes 2.61 crores of Friday, 4.38 crores of Saturday & 5.41 crores of Sunday. Till the end of the 10th day, total collection of the movie is recorded as 86.42 crores.

Once again it has been entered in weekdays and started facing drop in its business. On Monday, it recorded the drop of approximately 70% than previous day and minted the amount of 1.70 crore as its 11th day collection. Till the end of its 11th day, total collection of Welcome Back is calculated as 88.12 crores, with which it has become the 5th highest grosser of 2015 so far in Bollywood. Today is its 12th day of release and it has started the day with slightly less occupancy than yesterday. Its domestic collection on second Tuesday is estimated to be near about 1.45 crore.
