welcome back movie review

Welcome Back received mixed reviews from critics but audience find it very entertaining and hilarious, as a result it is collecting nice at box office in India as well as in overseas. As the prequel, the movie starring the ensemble cast that includes Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar & Paresh Rawal, they are the gems of the movie. In Welcome,  the lead roles were played by Akshay Kumar & Katrina Kaif but this time they both have been replaced by John Abraham & Shruti Haasan.

Behind the success, the things that disappoints audience are- its music, ineffective script and the absence of Akshay Kumar. The movie getting wonderful response worldwide and also the absence of Akshay in the movie is not effecting much because of the hilarious performance by Anil Kapoor, Nan Patekar & Paresh Rawal. But still fans are saying, the movie could be more entertaining if Akshay was there.

In the first weekend, Welcome Back was done the business of total 51 crores at Indian box office that includes 14.35 crores of Friday, 17.05 crores of Saturday and 19.60 crores of Sunday. After entering in weekdays, as expecting movie has faced drop of more than 60% in its business and minted 7.52 crores on Monday as its 4th day collection. Till the end of 4th day, total collection of the movie was calculated as 58.52 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it recorded slightly less occupancy and collected the amount of 6.17 crores as its 5th day collection.
