X MEN- Days of Future Past Fourth Day Box Office Report (India)

X-Men: Days of Future Past had the warm opening on the opening day or 1st day at the box office. The people were more interested in the Kochadaiiyaan that is released on same day. The reason could be that Kochadaiiyaan is the movie with the Rajnikanth and Deepika as the main cast in the movie. Also the people were seen less interested in the Tiger Shroff’s 1st debut movie i.e. Heropanti 2014.The trailers and the promos released before the release of the movie had been greatly loved by the people over the box office. It appears the attention “Days of Future Past” director Bryan Singer has received lately due a sexual assault lawsuit didn’t deter fans from flocking to the theater. The director dropped out of doing any press for the film following the allegations because he didn’t want to divert attention from the movie. “Rarely do outside situations impact the box office,” said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst for box-office tracker Rentrak. “The true fans, all they care about are the movie.” “Days of Future Past” is the second-highest opener in the “X-Men” franchise after Brett Ratner’s “X-Men: The Last Stand.”
