After last year’s Baadshaho, superstar Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’cruz are once again back together for a thriller drama titled Raid. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film is set in 1980’s era, based on one of the most high-profile real income tax raids of the country.
On Tuesday, makers revealed the first look poster of Raid and within hours of that, they have released its trailer also on the internet. Ajay took to Twitter to share the trailer with fans, he wrote “Heroes Don’t Always Come In Uniform. Here’s the #RaidTrailer…In cinemas on 16th March”.
The 2:46 minutes long trailer, features major highlights of the film that create good interest among viewers. With the trailer, Raid looks quite powerful and interesting as well. Ajay’s intense acting like he did in Drishyam and aggression like Singham franchise have boosted the excitement of fans to the next level.
In Raid, Ajay Devgn plays an honest income tax officer of Lucknow, who takes on one of the powerful goons of the city. The film explores how he conducts a raid despite numerous threats and attacks. Burly dialogues add more flavor to this thrilling treat.
With Raid, Ajay carries forward the trend set by actor Akshay Kumar of doing a film based on true incidents and prompts social message. So far the waves seem in favor of the film, let see what will be the response of audience post-release.
