Kabali Earns 205 Cr Pre Release by Satellite, Distribution & Music Rights

Rajinikanth’s Kabali has Minted 205 Cr before the Release July 22

The very much awaited Tamil movie Kabali is all set to break all the existing records of South Indian Cinema. This crime thriller has enormous buzz among audience and is being released on wide number of screens worldwide. Advance booking of the movie has been started from July 17 and getting phenomenal response on ticket windows.

South regions are witnessing immense excitement and almost all the theaters there have declared houseful for the entire opening weekend. Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Kabali is releasing in Tamil, Telugu & Hindi languages with 4000 screen count and reportedly has earned 205 crores before the release by selling its distribution, Satellite & music rights.

Producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu sold the overseas distribution rights of Kabali to Cine Galaxy at 30 crores. Telugu language rights also have been sold at 30 crores and Kerala plus Karnataka rights at 15 crores. Tamil Nadu distribution rights have been sold to Gemini Film Circuit at 65 crores and Hindi language distribution rights have been acquired by Fox Star Studios at 15 crores.

Satellite rights of Kabali’s Hindi version have brought 15 crores to the producer while Tamil version brought whopping amount of 30 crores. Its music rights have acquired by Think Music at 5 crores, that includes three language version- Tamil, Telugu & Hindi. This is how, Kabali has earned 205 crores pre release. Apart from this, the movie has tied-up with various brands – Air Asia, Airtel, Ola, Cadbury, Muthoot Finance & more in an estimated amount of 40 crores.
