Suriya’s 24 (Tamil) pushed to next year in summer for best VFX quality

24 is an upcoming Tamil family drama movie directed by Vikram Kumar & produced by actor turned producer Suriya under the banner 2D Entertainment. The movie features Suriya, Samantha & Nithya Menen in lead roles; along with Ajay, Sathyan, Mohan Raman etc in supporting characters. The very popular music composer A.R.Rahman is composing the music in the movie.

The shooting of 24 was started from mid of 2015 in Mumbai and as per the latest report, entire team of the movie is in Poland for the schedule of 20 days to shoot some important scenes & two songs. Makers of ’24’ have decided to release this movie in mid of 2016, so that they will get more time to work on its graphic. Actually makers are very concerned about the quality of movie and not agree for any compromise.

In April’15, Anil Kapoor threatened to take legal action against the makers for the use of title ’24’. Anil was bought the rights of this title from 20th Century Fox Company for his TV series. Later both parties decided to sort out the issue with mutual understanding. The movie is being produced in Tamil language but will get dubbed in Telugu also. Its Telugu version’s distribution rights have been acquired by Sreshth Movies & Global Films at 20 crores.
