Tanu Weds Manu Returns, year’s highest grosser movie so far has completed one month journey at box office. With huge audience appreciations and applause, it has become proved itself as all time blockbuster movie. In its first 2 weeks, it was grabbed the position of highest grosser by replacing Akshay Kumar’s Baby.

The previous part of the movie was also performed good at box office, so everyone was having same expectations with the new installment too. But the movie surprised everyone with its outstanding performance. Audience appreciated entire star cast for their hard work; especially Kangana Ranaut & Deepak Dobriyal who were amazing in the movie.

Yesterday TWMR has completed its 30 days of release, now the performance of the movie was low but still decent. With the occupancy of around 5-10%, it is still running in some regions of India. Now the total collection of the movie till the end of 30th day is recorded as 146.26 crores*. The movie was expected to touch 150 crores mark in its 5th weekend but the new release ABCD 2 is performing extremely well, so there was no chance for previous releases.

In its first week, Tanu Weds Manu Returns grossed highest first week collection of 70.05 crores. Maintaining its pace at good rate, second week collection of the movie was 46.70 crores which is very good figures as compare to previous hit movies of 2015. In third week, movie faced good competition because of Dil Dhadakne Do but still it earned wonderful amount of 19.96 crores. In its 4th week also, it was performed comparatively well and made total collection of 11.35 crores.

On its 31st day, TWMR has done the business of 0.85 crore* and made its total to 147.11 crores.

Now the journey of Tanu Weds Manu Returns at box office is almost at its end, no doubt it was superb movie but new releases are capable of replacing almost 4 weeks old TWMR.
