Last Friday release married life based flick Shaadi Ke Side Effects has completed its first week on box office. It was released on 28th February 2014 last month and was a sequel to the love life based romantic comedy Pyaar Ke Side effects starred by Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose. This newer installment featured Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan in the lead roles opposite each other as the husband and wife. Shaadi Ke Side Effects First Week collections are good which is mainly because of a good growth on Saturday and Sunday after a slow start on the first day. The movie faces no competition at box office and also generated enough buzz before its release. Critics have also given it decent points though the expectations were slightly on higher scale.

One Week Business of Shaadi Ke Side Effects

Shaadi Ke Side Effects collected around 8.50 Crores (approx) on its third day i.e. Sunday thus, summing up the first weekend at 21.60 Crores (estimated). Total occupancy of this flick was not high on any of its day but still the box office collections were satisfactory few times. Basically, most of the collections had come from the multiplexes while single screens have given dull response. Film is sustaining well in the lower end of the weekdays but these days it has shown big drop due to new releases on box office. Its 7th day box office collection is around 3 Crores making its total collections in its first week around 31 Crores which is neither too worse nor too complimentary. This is the last earning week for this flick as the new releases are going to thresh the chances of earning more or entering into the 2nd week. Overall, it has given an entertaining and good pastime to the audience in its runtime.
