The movie was released on around 2000 screens in India and minted approximately 24 crores as domestic total in weekend. It has received favorable reviews from critics and overwhelmed response from audience across the globe. Being a saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji has millions of devotees worldwide and the craze of their fans towards the movie can be easily on social media.

MSG 2 is the sequel of MSG The Messenger of God that was released this year in February. The prequel did massive business at box office and created many records to it name. The latest installment is also heading on the same path and collecting excellent figures at box office. It was minted the amount of 3.60 crores with its premiere only that was held on 16th Sept. in Gurgaon at Leisure Valley Park. As per the report, more than 2,00,000 people had attended the event that day.

In the weekend, MSG 2 has recorded houseful in almost all its dominated regions and minted the amount of around 24 crores* as total that includes 6.75 crores* of Friday, 7.75 crores* of Saturday & 9.50 crores* of Sunday. Makers of MSG 2 have claimed that the movie has done the business of total 42.51 crores at worldwide box office throughout the weekend that includes 13.38 crores of Friday, 11.77 crores of Saturday & 17.36 crores of Sunday.

Now the movie has been entered in working days and started facing drop in its business. But still collecting good as compare to adjacent releases. On Monday, MSG 2 has recorded the drop of approximately 40% and minted the amount of 3.65 crores* as its fourth day collection. In overseas, the craze of fans is still very high and the movie is heading towards 50 crores mark at worldwide box office.
