Ajith Kumar starrer & Siruthai Siva directorial Tamil action movie Vedalam is getting overwhelmed response from audience across the globe. The movie was released on 10th of November on 1000 screens worldwide that comprises with 520 screens in Tamil Nadu. Most of the critics have reviewed with positive comments, which created huge buzz about it on social media. Vedalam was minted the amount of 15.50 crores from Tamil Nadu as its first day and become the highest opener movie in the history of Kollywood so far.

From the next day, it was started facing drops in its occupancy as well as business and reported 10 crores on Wednesday, 8.5 crores on Thursday, 6.5 crores on Friday, 5.90 crores on Saturday and 5.30 crores on Sunday. Now it has been entered in weekdays and as expected facing heavy drops in its business. On Monday it has recorded almost 50% drop and minted the amount of 2.20 crores as its 7th day collection. Till the end of day, total one week collection of Vedalam is recorded as 53.90 crores.

Thoongavanam Opening Week Business Report

Kamal Haasan starrer & Rajesh M. Selva directorial another Tamil action thriller movie Thoongavanam is also getting decent response from audience across the globe. The movie was released on 10th of November on 800 screens worldwide that comprises with 300 screens in the state Tamil Nadu. Almost all the critics have reviews with very positive reviews and audience find it very thrilling.

On the first day, it was minted the business of 9 crores with TN screens. From the next day, it was also started facing drops as Vedalam in its occupancy as well as business. It raked the business figures of 4 crores on Wednesday, 3.25 crores on Thursday, 3 crores on Friday, 2.50 crores on Saturday & 2.30 crores on Sunday. Now it has been entered in weekdays and as expected facing heavy drops in its business. On Monday it has recorded the drop of 50% and minted the amount of 1.10 crore as its 7th day collection. Till the end of day, total one week collection of Vedalam is recorded as 25.15 crores.
