Ajith Kumar’s Vedalam One Month Total Collection, Crosses 110 Cr Worldwide

Superstar Ajith Kumar starrer action thriller Tamil movie Vedalam that was released on Diwali i.e. 10th November, has completed its one month journey at box office. The movie was released on approx. 1000 screens worldwide, that comprised of 520 screens in its dominated state Tamil Nadu. Ajith is one of the most popular actor in South Indian Cinema and has huge fan following among audience. His recent movie has received overwhelmed response from audience across the state and crossed the mark of 50 crores in its first week only. Most theaters in Tamil Nadu were houseful for the entire opening weekend. At international market also, Vedalam has done quite well and completed the target of 100 crore within 10 days of release including domestic business.

Fans of Thala Ajith were showed immense craze towards the movie in its early days, their excitement could be easily seen with the performance of Vedalam at box office. It was not the solo release, another action thriller Thoongavanam of superstar Kamal Haasan was released on the same day. But still this Ajith starrer was managed to collect excellent business figures though out. Despite of heavy rains in many regions of Tamil Nadu, the movie was recorded decent audience response in theaters.

Now after a month of release, Vedalam is still ruling on Tamil Nadu box office and heading towards creating new records. The movie has already surpassed the collection record of Vijay’s Kaththi in Malaysia. Till yet, it has made over 110 crores at worldwide box office, that includes 75+ crores of Indian screens only. From Tamil Nadu screens, it has collected approx. 62 crores & rest 13 crores from other regions of the country.
