‘Bajirao Mastani’ still has Good hold on Audience

Ranveer-Deepika and Priyanka Chopra starrer historical love story Bajirao Mastani, still has good hold on audience and is heading with steady business. The movie was buzzing all over, from a long time before its release and was released on 18th December with much expectations of audience. It has received very strong reviews from all critics as well as moviegoers. The flawless direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and remarkable performances by the lead stars, are being appreciated by everyone and the reason behind such great response. Within two week, Bajirao Mastani had surpassed the domestic record of SRK-Kajol’s Dilwale that was released on the same day with higher screen count.

This is really an amazing achievement for any movie to dominate the one, which is more stronger in terms of star power. Bajirao Mastani has also become the third highest grosser movie of year 2015 after Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Not only in India but in overseas too, it is getting well response from audience and is giving close competition to adjacent one Dilwale, which is still ruling on box office there.

Bajirao Mastani was did the business of total 141.85 crores in two weeks from Indian screens, that includes 86.15 crores of first week and 55.70 crores of second week. In its third weekend, it raked the business of 20.50 crores that includes 7.50 crores of Friday, 6 crores of Saturday and 7 crores of Sunday. Once again it has entered in weekdays and getting lesser occupancy than weekend, but still has decent pace. The movie has done the business of 2.30 crores on Monday and 2.20 crores on Tuesday. On the next day, it faced little drop and added 2.05 crores as its 20th day collection. Till the end of the day, total domestic collection of Bajirao Mastani is recorded as 168.90 crores.
