Bajirao Mastani 21st Day Collection, Crosses 170 Cr in 3 Weeks from India

Ace film maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’ has proved itself better than the opposite one Dilwale. Earlier the movie which was expected to be the winner of this battle of 18th December, is now being lagged behind Bajirao Mastani with good lead on Indian box office. This epic love story was started decently on box office but successfully maintained its pace, as a result it has become the third highest grosser movie of year 2015 after Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. On overseas box office too, it is getting impressive response and has grossed 300 crores worldwide. All the critics as well as viewers have reviewed it with super positive comments and made it to register many records at box office.

Bajirao Mastani was raked the total business of 141.85 crores in last two weeks from India, that includes 86.15 crores of first week and 55.70 crores of second week. In the third weekend, it was minted the amount of 20.50 crores, whereas the adjacent release Dilwale of superstar Shahrukh Khan was minted only 7.71 crores. In weekdays, as expected the movie has received low occupancy but still collected good; 2.30 crores on Monday, 2.20 crores on Tuesday and 2.05 crores on Wednesday. On the last of week, it collected the amount of 2 crores as its 21st day collection. With the end of its third week, total domestic collection of Bajirao Mastani has become 170.90 crores.
