Kapoor & Sons 5th Day Collection; Crosses 35.93 Cr at Indian Box Office

‘Kapoor & Sons’ has Minted 31.43 Cr in last 4 Days from India

Karan Johar’s recent venture, the family drama movie ‘Kapoor & Sons‘ has taken a successful star at box office and heading strongly in weekdays too. The movie has been released on Friday with good hype among audience and received very positive reviews from viewers as well as critics. That boosted up its hype and generated strong word of mouth for it. After Airlift & Neerja, Kapoor & Sons is performing like a winner at box office, which is definitely a good sign. Now everyone is eyeing on coming Friday release action thriller Rocky Handsome.

Shakun Batra’s directorial this movie has witnessed amazing response from audience across the country and raked the business of total 26.35 crores in the opening weekend, that includes 6.85 crores of Friday, 7.75 crores of Saturday and 11.75 crores of Sunday. Not only in India but from overseas market too, it has reported extremely well and minted 19.27 crores from there. It has become the first highest opening weekend grosser in overseas of the year so far after dominating Akshay Kumar’s Airlift.

Now it has entered in weekdays and asusual getting lesser occupancy than weekend. Kapoor & Sons has passed its Monday test with good marks and did the business of 5.08 crores as its 4th day collection. On Tuesday, it received quite similar response and collected the amount of 4.50 crores on Indian screens. Till the end of its 5th day, total collection of Kapoor & Sons is recorded as 35.93 crores.
