7th Day: Baaghi Total Collection Crosses 59 Cr in 1 Week across India

‘Baaghi’ Emerges as 3rd Highest Opening Week Grosser of 2016 so far!

Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff’s latest offering, the action romantic movie ‘Baaghi’ has completed its one week journey on an excellent note. The movie had started with good hype among audience and showed tremendous performance through out. Despite mixed reviews from critics, Baaghi has raked such handsome total as its opening week business. After registering third highest opening day and third highest opening weekend collection of this year, it has also registered year’s third highest opening week collection so far after Fan and Airlift. This shows the love and support movie received from the audience.

Baaghi has been released on 3094 screens across the globe including 2750 of India and rest 344 of overseas. In the opening weekend, Sabbir Khan’s directorial had reported the total business of 38.58 cr, that includes 11.94 cr of Friday, 11.13 cr of Saturday and 15.51 cr of Sunday. The weekend total was higher than that of Kapoor & Sons. From the overseas market, it raked the business of 10.82 cr in its first weekend.

In weekdays it faced considerable drops but still completed the week with excellent performance through out. With gradual decline in its business graph, the movie minted the amount of 6.72 cr on Monday, 5.77 cr on Tuesday and 4.62 cr on Wednesday. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, Baaghi received more drop and added the amount of 4.03 cr to its account and made its one week domestic total as 59.72 cr.

Now the Hollywood biggie, Captain America: Civil War is being released on box office from this Friday and has massive pre-release hype across the country. So it will be not be easy for Baaghi to maintain a decent pace in its second week.
