3 Days Total Collection of The Angry Birds Movie, Veerappan & Waiting across India

One more time, a Hollywood movie dominated Bollywood movies on Indian box office. Yes, we are talking about this Friday released 3D animation movie ‘The Angry Birds Movie’ which was buzzing from a good time among audience across the country. As expected this one has minted higher business than other new releases.

The very much awaited ‘The Angry Birds Movie’ has been released with good hype and received positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Being highly promoted, it has witnessed much occupancy in theaters and ended its opening weekend on a good note.

On its opening day, it reported decent response and minted the amount of 2.20 crores from India. On the next day i.e. Saturday, being weekend the movie witnessed decent rise in its business graph and did the business of 3.22 crores as its second day collection.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, being holiday ‘The Angry Birds Movie‘ reported better performance than last two days and added the amount of 3.62 crores to its account. After the weekend, its total collection is recorded as 9.04 crores across India.

In parallel to it there are two more movies- ‘Veerappan’ & ‘Waiting’, getting considerable response at box office. Both these movies have received favorable reviews from critics. On its opening day, ‘Veerappan’ witnessed almost 15% of occupancy and minted the amount of 1.79 crore whereas ‘Waiting’ did the business of 0.27 crore only.

On the next day, ‘Veerappan’ witnessed almost similar as Friday and raked 1.96 crore. On the other hand ‘Waiting’ showed decent growth and added 0.48 crore to its account. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, being holiday these both experience better than last two days and done the business of 2.20 crores & 0.55 crore respectively.
