Movies This Week: Budhia Singh, Michael Mishra, Fever, Jason Bourne, Thirunaal

Latest Films to be Released on 5th August 2016

This Friday on August 5, there are number of movies are being released on Indian box office. But only few of these have some hype among audience. After couple of weeks, Hollywood movies are again all set to dominate Bollywood movies in their own boundaries. Because new Hindi offerings of this week are low star powered and are not expected to do any magic after release.

While on the other hand, two Hollywood movies Jason Bourne (English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu) & Suicide Squad (English) are buzzing decently among Indian audience. The regional movies like Thirunaal (Tamil), Chauthi Koot (Punjabi), Vismayam (Malayalam), Manamantha (Telugu) etc. have their own regions to perform, so they will hardly get affected due to English movies.

But the problem is with Hindi movies, because these have no star power to attract audience also have existing movies like Sultan, Dishoom & Kabali (Hindi) in opposite along with new English ones. Let see, how these all will perform after the release.

Budhia Singh: Born To Run (U) is an Indian biogrpahical sports movie based on wonder boy Budhia Singh, who ran 48 marathons in the age of only 5 years. It features Mayur Patole as the title character and the very promising actor Manoj Bajpayee as his coach. The movie is directed by Soumendra Padhi and backed Viacom 18 Motion Pictures & Code Red Films. Budhia Singh- Born To Run has won the National Film Award for Best Children’s Film in 2016.

The Legend of Michael Mishra (U) is Hindi comedy movie, directed by Manish Jha and produced by Kishor Arora & Shareen Mantri Kedia under the banner Eyecandy Films. It features Arshad Warsi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Boman Irani and Kayoze Irani.

Fever (A) is a suspense thriller movie, directed by Rajeev Jhaveri and produced by Niche Film Farm, Plus Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., ICM Entertainment Pvt. Lrd. & Jaya Sapthagiri Productions. It features Rajeev Khandelwal and Gauhar Khan in lead roles, along with Gemma Atkinson, Caterino Murino and Ankita Makwana in supporting characters.

Jason Bourne (U/A) is an American action thriller movie, directed by Paul Greengrass and produced by The Kennedy/Marshall Company, Captivate Entertainment, Pearl Street Films & Perfect World Pictures. It is the fifth installment of Bourne series and direct sequel to 2007’s The Bourne Ultimatum. The movie features Matt Damon, who is reprising his role as the title character.

Thirunaal (U/A) is a Tamil action movie, directed by P.S.Ramnath and produced by M. Senthil Kumar under the banner Kodhandapani Films. It features the well known actors of Tamil cinema, Jiiva and Nayanthara in lead roles.

Along with these, Hollywood’s Suicide Squad (U/A), Bollywood’s Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara & Moods of Crime, Kollywood’s Ennama Katha Vudranunga (U), Tollywood’s Manamantha (Telugu) & more are also being released.
