Sohail Khan’s directorial recent sports romantic-comedy Freaky Ali has completed its opening weekend on an average note. Being backed by superstar Salman Khan, it was highly expected to perform better but due to adjacent release Baar Baar Dekho, Freaky Ali remained the second choice of audience through out. Made with a budget of 19 crores, this movie has recovered almost half of it in the weekend from India.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Arbaaz Khan & Amy Jackson starrer Freaky Ali has received favorable reviews from critics as well as audience but still recorded lesser occupancy than expected. Everyone is appreciating the performances of lead actors, especially Nawazuddin whose acting has made this movie more entertaining.

On the opening day, Freaky Ali witnessed very low occupancy of 10-15% across 700 screens of India and did the business of 2.55 crores. On the next day, being weekend and due to favorable reactions, it showed slight rise and raked the business of 2.85 crores on domestic box office.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie reported higher response than last 2 days and added the amount of 3.10 crores to its account with almost 9% of growth than Saturday. After the opening weekend, total collection of Freaky Ali is recorded as 8.50 crores nationwide. There is a holiday on Tuesday due to Eid-a-Adha, so the movie is expected to remain steady on its fourth & fifth day.
