Most anticipated Indian sports biopic, MS Dhoni The Untold Story has completed its one month journey on an excellent note. With overwhelmed response of audience and super positive reviews of critics, this Neeraj Pandey’s directorial has become the second highest grossing movie of the year after Salman Khan’s Sultan.

In its opening week, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer MS Dhoni The Untold Story had recorded phenomenal occupancy and did the excellent business of 94.13 crores including 66 crores of weekend and 28.13 crores of weekdays across Indian with its Hindi, Tamil & Telugu versions.

In the second week, despite several fresh releases the movie remained the first choice of audience and raked the business of 27.35 crores including 15.17 crores of weekend and 12.18 crores of weekdays. Then in the third week, MS Dhoni The Untold Story still remained strong and collected the decent business total of 8.02 crores including 5.64 crores of weekend and 2.38 crores of weekdays.

In the fourth week, the movie lost little hold and did the business of 3.35 crores including 1.93 crore of weekend and 1.42 crore of weekdays. After 4 weeks, total collection of MS Dhoni The Untold Story was recorded as 132.85 crores on domestic box office. Now it is running in the fifth week and has two much awaited Hindi movies- Shivaay & Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in opposite.

With slight lesser performance than before, the movie minted the amount of 0.25 crore on Friday and 0.24 crore on Saturday. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, being Diwali MS Dhoni The Untold Story has reported almost similar and estimated to add the amount of 0.22 crore* to its account. With this, its one month domestic total is set to become 133.56 crores*.
