Box Office: Force 2 10th Day Collection, Breaks Down in 2nd Weekend

After a decent opening, recent offering of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures Force 2 has now started struggling on box office. Despite demonetization, the movie recorded enough occupancy through out the opening weekend. From critics, it has received mixed reviews but audience reacted in complete favor of it.

In the opening weekend, Abhinay Deo’s directorial had witnessed decent response and did the business of 20.05 crores, which was included 6.05 crores of Friday, 6.50 crores of Saturday and 7.50 crores of Sunday. Then in weekdays, asusual its business graph dropped but the movie still registered the amount of 10.10 crores with 2.80 crores of Monday, 2.70 crores of Tuesday, 2.40 crores of Wednesday and 2.20 crores of Thursday.

Now Force 2 is running in its second week and has successfully running SRK-Alia’s Dear Zindagi in opposite. Also previous releases Shivaay, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil & Rock On 2 are still in race, so John Abraham & Sonakshi Sinha starrer this action thriller has slowed down by heavy rate.

On its second Friday, Force 2 reported around 50% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 1.05 crore. Then on Saturday being weekend, it showed little rise and collected 1.35 crore. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie witnessed more growth and added the amount of 1.60 crore to its account.

After the second weekend, total collection of Force 2 has become 34.15 crores on domestic box office. In weekdays it won’t be easy for the movie to receive enough response, as new release Dear Zindagi has diverted most of the audience toward itself.
