Box Office: The Fate Of The Furious (Fast And Furious 8) 8th Day Collection, Completes 1 Week

8 Days Total Collection of ‘Fast And Furious 8’ across India

Last Thursday released highly buzzed 8th installment of the very popular American franchise Fast And Furious, The Fate Of The Furious passed the 8-days extended opening week on a good note. Once again Hollywood film dominated the adjacent Hindi offering at Indian box office.

Due to lot of actions and thrill, audience liked Fast And Furious 8 and showed thumbs up. Although some critics found it less entertaining than the previous installment of the franchise Fast And Furious 7 but reacted in favor, which generated good word of mouth about it.

In the opening weekend, F. Gary Gray’s directorial remained strong throughout and did the business of 50.04 crores from around 1700 screens across the country, which was including 6.29 crores of Wednesday with paid previews, 9.75 crores of Thursday, 11.25 crores of Friday (Good Friday), 10.75 crores of Saturday and 12 crores of Sunday.

Then in weekdays, Vin Diesel starrer Fast And Furious 8 faced considerable dip than weekend but still remained well. On Monday, with 47% of drop than Thursday and added the amount of 5.15 crores. With further decline, it managed to collect 4.60 crores on Tuesday and 4.15 crores on Wednesday.

On 2nd Thursday, with more drop Fast And Furious 8 garnered the business of 3.60 crores and made it’s 8-days extended one week total 67.54 crores nett (93.80 crores gross) nationwide. From the new week, it will have new two Hindi films Noor & Maatr in opposite along with existing ones.
