Box Office: Sachin A Billion Dreams 4th Day Collection, Passes Monday on a Decent Note

Despite being released in a Ramzan month, docu-drama Sachin A Billion Dreams is running successfully at box office across the globe. This much awaited biopic of the legend Sachin Tendulkar, proved all the predictions wrong and completed the opening weekend on an impressive note.

James Erskine’s directorial started it’s journey on a good note across the country and registered the seventh highest opening of the year in Hindi Cinema with 8.60 crores. On Saturday due to positive word of mouth, it showed decent growth and minted the amount of 9.20 crores.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, Sachin A Billion Dreams took more jump and bagged the amount of 10.25 crores to make it’s opening weekend total as 28.05 crores from 2400 screens across the country including Hindi (₹24.45cr), English (₹0.42cr), Tamil (₹0.93cr), Telugu (₹1.05cr) and Marathi (₹1.20cr) versions.

Now the movie has entered in weekdays and faced usual drop in it’s footfalls, but still remained decent. On Monday with around 49% of drop than Friday, Sachin A Billion Dreams garnered the business of 4.20 crores and raised it’s 4 days total collection to 32.25 crores nationwide.

God-of-cricket’s biopic successfully break the spell of last week’s much awaited Half Girlfriend, while Hindi Medium and Baahubali 2 are still heading unaffectedly due to the power of good content. In overseas, Sachin A Billion Dreams has 400 screens and getting quite good response from there too.
