Super Singh and Bank Chor 6 Days Total Collection
Last Friday released Punjabi film Super Singh is getting good response at box office in India as well as overseas. Audience found this adventure action comedy very entertaining and their favorable response created good buzz about it. From critics also, it has received positive reviews.
Being Diljit Dosanjh starrer Super Singh was released with much pre-release hype among fans as well as Punjabi audience and as expected witnessed terrific response. The actor is one of the most popular superstars in Punjabi Cinema and like his previous movies, the latest one is also heading strongly at box office.
In the opening weekend, Anurag Singh’s directorial recorded excellent occupancy across the country and did the business of 5.75 crores, that included 1.80 crore of Friday, 2.05 crores of Saturday and 1.90 crore of Sunday from around 350 screens.
Now it is running in weekdays but still has much hold over the audience. With 39% of drop than last Friday, the film minted the amount of 1.10 crore on Monday and 0.95 crore on Tuesday. Then with further dip on Wednesday, Super Singh raked the business of 0.90 crore and raised it’s 6 days domestic total collection to 8.70 crores.
While the adjacently released Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi starrer Hindi film Bank Chor got failed to attract audience toward theaters despite good promotions. Also it hasn’t received favorable reviews from most of the critics as well as viewers.
Bumpy’s directorial started the journey on a dull note and remained the same throughout the opening weekend. It collected the business of only 4.36 crores in first 3 days, with 1.40 crore on Friday, 1.66 crore on Saturday and 1.30 crore on Sunday from 700 screens at domestic box office.
With usual drop in weekdays, Bank Chor managed to collect the amount of 0.91 crore on Monday and 0.81 crore on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, it minted 0.66 and made it’s 6 days total 6.74 crores at domestic box office.
