11th Day Collection of Mubarakan, Anees Bazmee’s Film Earns 44.59 Crore Total with 2nd Monday

Like the opening weekend, in the second one too Mubarakan registered an average performance on Friday but picked up fairly well from the next day. Despite having biggie Jab Harry Met Sejal in opposite, this comedy drama has good hold over the family audience across the country.

Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’cruz and Athiya Shetty starrer this family entertainer hasn’t got desired response at box office though, but received positive reviews from critics as well as audience. With this it has emerged as the one of the few Hindi films of the year which have been accepted completely by the viewers.

In the opening week, Mubarakan kick-started on an average note but showed impressive growth over the weekend due to positive word of mouth and did the business of 35.66 crores, that included 22.91 crores of weekend and 12.75 crores of weekdays from 2350 screens across the country.

Now the film is running in it’s second week and passed the weekend on an almost decent note. On 2nd Friday, it minted the amount of 1.05 crore with around 62% of drop than the previous day. Then on Saturday, it witnessed good growth of almost 100% and added 2 crores to the account.

On Sunday with further increment, Mubarakan raked the business of 3.03 crores and raised it’s 10 days total collection to 41.74 crores at domestic box office. On the next day i.e. 2nd Monday, there was a holiday due to Raksha Bandhan, so the film remained almost steady and garnered the business of 2.85 crores.

With this, total collection of Mubarakan after 11 days of release has become 44.59 crores. Because of noticing comparatively better footfalls in weekdays than Jab Harry Met Sejal, many theater owners decided to increase the shows of Anees Bazmee’s directorial.
